what happening once the number is sold? how do I get paid and how is the person who purchased the number gets the sim card?

Prestigenumbers offers a place for you to advertise your number on the site for buyers to contact you and arrange payment and transfer.
The process that usually takes place is buyer contacts you by filling out the online enquiry form and you get an email with their enquiries. The buyer will negotiate price and advise you their preferred phone network. Once you receive payment from buyer (whatever method buyer agrees to e.g. bank, paypal), you will need to print and fill out the transfer of ownership forms relevant to the network you’re with.
You send the simcard and paperwork with your part filled out to the buyer and buyer will complete the transfer by bringing the paperwork to their phone store.
