TRANSFERRING NUMBERS TO NEW OWNER
Some network such as Vodafone do not allow you to transfer names if the simcard is prepaid. To get passed this, you transfer your name to a new network first e.g. Optus, then you use the Optus form to transfer your name to the new owner’s name.
To transfer name from Vodafone prepaid to new network like Optus, you simply purchase a Optus start up simcard and activated using your mobile number (not the number they provide on the simpack). Once the number is transferred you fill out the transfer forms relevant to the new preferred network.
